Seth Resources begins its journey as a Botswana-owned energy company focused on petroleum supply, logistics and energy solutions.
- 2025
Petroleum Import Licence
Seth Resources receives its Combined Petroleum Products Import Licence from the Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority on 27 May 2025.

BYWC Oil and Gas Training Program
Through the BYWC Oil and Gas Training Program, Seth Resources connects Batswana with industry knowledge, skills development and opportunities to participate in the energy sector.

Brian Kgosi Mmusi is the Founder and CEO of Seth Resources, which he established in 2015. His vision is to strengthen Botswana's self-sufficiency in fuel supply and support the government's efforts to diversify the economy through greater participation in the energy sector.

Brian Kgosi Mmusi is the Founder and CEO of Seth Resources, which he established in 2015. His vision is to strengthen Botswana's self-sufficiency in fuel supply and support the government's efforts to diversify the economy through greater participation in the energy sector.
Passionate about giving back to the community and empowering Batswana, he has partnered with the Botswana Government and PYEC to help equip young people with skills in oil and gas. Through the Botswana Women, Youth Oil and Gas programme, this commitment connects training with broader opportunities for women and young people to participate in the industry.
His community support also includes donations to the Bonno Housing Scheme, reflecting his belief that business growth should contribute to the wellbeing of the communities it serves.

Kamogelo Lorraine Tau is an energy and business strategist with over a decade of experience spanning energy, mining, operations, procurement, marketing, sales and international business. She holds an MSc in Oil, Gas and Energy Management from the University of East London, combining specialist energy knowledge with extensive commercial and operational experience. Her career has included leadership in project development, financial planning, stakeholder management, strategic marketing and procurement across Botswana and the United Kingdom.
At Seth Resources Petroleum, she brings this multidisciplinary experience to energy strategy, petroleum development and commercial growth, supporting the company's ambitions across Botswana and the regional energy market.
